Geoff McMillan
Chief Executive Officer
Geoff McMillan is founder CEO of Speciality European Pharma. He is also non-executive chairman of Maelor plc, a non-executive director of Galapagos NV and a consultant to Advent Venture Partners. Geoff has more than 20 years experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. He was previously CEO of Biofocus until October 2005 when it was merged with Galapagos NV. Prior to this he held a number of senior commercial positions with Elan, Roche and Xenova, having started his career in marketing and sales with Smith and Nephew.

Patrick Banks
Chief Financial Officer, Speciality European Pharma
Patrick Banks has more than 11 years' experience in the biotech sector, firstly with Phairson Medical, a protein therapeutics company, and then with Inpharmatica, a chemogenomics and discovery company. He also has previous financial market experience at Arthur Andersen in London. Patrick brings extensive M&A, MBO and LBO experience, and was advisor on five IPOs on LSE and NYSE.

Tim Record
Vice President Operations
Tim is a pharmacist with 22 years experience at GlaxoSmithKline in production management, technical transfers, third party contractor management and global programme management. Most recently he was director new product supply and successfully led the introduction of several complex respiratory device products to US, Japanese and EU markets. Prior to this he played a key role in the merger of Glaxo and SB, working with the FTC to fulfil the manufacturing obligations and leading approximately 8,000 technical transfers to enable multiple site closures.

Rakesh Tailor
Vice President, Sales & Marketing

Rakesh Tailor has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for over 13 years. Prior to joining SEP he spent five years at Takeda as EU Head of Marketing for speciality products, covering oncology, urology, CNS, neurology and renal medicine, after earlier roles in business development and European marketing. Before that he worked at Pfizer/Pharmacia/Pharmacia & Upjohn in various sales and marketing roles, predominantly in the urology space.

Benoit Cabanes
Vice President Southern Europe & General Manager France
Benoit has more than 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He spent 15 years with Merck Sharp & Dohm in a broad variety of operational, marketing and managerial positions, with increasing responsibilities both in France and the US. Benoit left MSD in 2002 to join Fournier Pharma as a member of the executive committee and VP Business Development and Global Marketing. Shortly afterwards, he was appointed Managing Director for France.

Ton P. Alblas
Managing Director, Speciality European Pharma GmbH – Germany
Ton has 23 years of experience in the international pharmaceutical and medical device industry. After studying medicine, he started his career in sales and marketing at Allergan pharmaceuticals, where he worked for 12 years. Ton then worked for a medical device wholesaler and homecare company in Germany, and became general manager. In 2003, Ton started his own company as a strategic consultant. In 2006, he set up the German subsidiary of a French speciality pharmaceutical and medical device company as managing director. Ton joined SEP in January 2010.
